Vijai Marine Shipyard delivers first of the Two Ultra High Cubic Bulk Carriers order received from Shree Sagar Stevedores Pvt. Ltd. Gujrat for their Lighterage operations off West Coast of India .
The FlexiModular design has been developed for all India Coastal Operations and allows vessel to be built in various combinations of cubic capacity and deck strength for light to heavy cargo without changing the dimensions of the vessel . This allows the hull form and it's powering to be fuel efficient for different loading conditions thus keeping operational cost low while maintaining good sea keeping ability in different coastal conditions across India and all-weather conditions .
The accommodation is a two-tier arrangement which can qualify for an RSV4 upgrade this keeping vessel a great investment for exploring future business opportunities and meeting changing market demands. The vessel is installed with twin screw total power of 800 bhp coupled to high thrust propellers making vessel highly manoeuvrable in narrow channels and open sea conditions .
